These vacuum tanks draw on over 25 years of Harrel experience in the
precision control of vacuum.

VR-110 Rectangular Vacuum Tank
- Professionally designed venturi driven by a precision
gear pump and a Harrel digital drive gives stable vacuum to 324 inches
of water -- vs. perhaps 50-80 inches for the vacuum cleaner type pumps.
- Electronic vacuum sensing and Harrel closed loop vacuum
controller give unparalleled accuracy and stability.
- Water reservoir does not need to be under vacuum -- much,
much easier to clean.
- "De-bubbled" water in critical first vacuum chamber.
- Positive latches on lid.
- Dual chamber gives much more stable vacuum in critical
first chamber.

VC-108 Cylindrical Vacuum Tank
- Ideal for larger sized tubing.
- All the features of the VR-110 plus
rugged, cylindrical shape to eliminate "washboarding", or flexing of
sides, which occurs in larger rectangular tanks.

"Non-Contact" sizing tooling.
- Film of water prevents tubing from actual contact with
sizing tooling.
- Particularly good for very soft or sticky polymers.
- Water seals at inlet and oulet ends.

Multiple-Plate Sizing Tooling
- Tubing passes through a series of plates with accurately
machined, smoothed holes.
- Spacing between plates with circulating water provides
very efficient cooling.
- Generally more accurate sizing than non-contact type, but
not as good for very soft or sticky polymers.
